What Does it feel like to see clearly and without judgment?
Image featuring our wonderful tarot teacher, Samara Kasai of Kasai Thrive
Image description: A straight-size Black person sits cross-legged in a park, surrounded by trees. The grass under their feet is a light green, and the landscape is a gently rolling hill. They have short brown hair and wear glasses, a green sweater, brown pants, and dark brown shoes. Their left hand rests on their heart, their right on their belly. They look directly into the camera with a piercing gaze.
Justice asks us to see with our hearts, our bodies, and our minds. Justice wants us centered in the present moment, able to surrender to radical acceptance. To be completely aware and in touch with ourselves and our environment. Only through this awareness can we see clearly the roots of injustice and the parts we play in perpetuating them. Only with nonjudgmental acceptance can we hold those parts of ourselves and move forward to fight for Justice. When you see this card, can you take a moment to pause, center, and bring awareness? How does that change your thoughts and actions?
Featured in this painting is the teacher who brought us together, Samara Kasai of Kasai Thrive. They teach incredible tarot and breathwork courses, and they embody the qualities of the Justice card in all that they do.
